English Rib / Fisherman's Rib Knitting Stitch Variation (Slip 1 as if to Purl, K YO tog)

Today I shall be showing you a variation of the English Rib or Fisherman's Rib stitch which includes slipping a stitch as if to purl and knitting two stitches together. This stitch is beautiful when used in knitting jumpers and sweaters, and works up to a beautifully chunky rib.

I am so excited to get started in teaching you how to knit, starting at the very basics and moving on to more advanced stitches and projects as time goes on.
