Mock Short Row Heel // Technique Tuesday

This video demonstrates a sock heel that mimics the classic hourglass short row heel without the use of short rows. The same methods for modifying a short row heel for a better fit can be applied to this heel, as well. This heel can be used in cuff down socks or toe up socks.

This heel is a modification of the mock short row heel from The Sock Knitter's Workshop, by Ewa Jostes and Stephanie van der Linden. I made several modifications to the original process, which I found improved the result. (affiliate link) As an Amazon associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.
